If you've got an inverted triangle shape, then you're much broader on top and narrow on the bottom. You've got a full bust and large shoulders that taper into an average waist, narrow hips and long legs. Enjoy flared skirts to balance out your wider shoulders, while still showing off your legs. Use a low slung belt to attract attention to your hips and to balance your figure. Try to create a narrowly look for your shoulders with high set sleeves and low necklines.

If you want a two-piece, go for one with some support in the top. Halter-top bikinis can be a great choice for offering support and adding some sexy cleavage at the same time. A classic tank can look clean and sporty. Opt for wide straps for comfort.

For a one-piece swimsuit, again, go for support in the top with a shelf bra or foam cups. If your torso is long, opt for a cut out one-piece. If your torso is short, pick a suit that's cut high on the thigh and go for vertical stripes. A solid one piece with plunging neckline is also a great choice for a short torso.

1. Confirm that you have a pear shape.
Pear shapes have a larger, more muscular bottom half.

2. Pear shapes usually have:
• A bottom heavy shape
• Thin and slender neck
• Narrow or sloping shoulders
• Larger and more generous lower hips and thighs You definitely have a curvy bottom half, with rounded hips and full thighs.

3. Choose a shirt that will draw the eye to the shoulders.

4. Top off your shirt with a blazer.
• Try to find one with puffed sleeves to balance out your shoulders in proportion to your hips.
• Avoid wearing a blazer that hits the widest point of your hips. Find one that hits slightly above or at waist level.

5. Stay away from tight skirts and trousers.

6. Lengthen and slim your legs with a pair of heeled shoes. Heavier style heels which are not stilettos will balance out your calves.
• Avoid shoes with ankle straps or t-strap styles, which can make your legs look larger.

Women with apple body types tend to have an average to large bust, a wide waist and thin legs. Flat rear ends, narrow hips and wide shoulders are also key characteristics of an apple. Focusing on the positive--the arms, legs, and bust; while camouflaging the negative--the waist in particular; is the key to flattering an apple body type.


1- Choose tops with details such a ruching on the sides, knotting, pleating or ruching. These details will draw less attention to the tummy area, which is an apple body type's trouble area.

2- Wear v-neck or scooped neckline shirts. They accentuate the bust, which is a key feature. Any shirt that has an interesting neckline works well for an apple body shape.

3- Avoid pants with well-defined waist bands. Dress in straight legs and avoid pockets. All these elongate while drawing attention away from the midsection.

4- Wear long tops that cover the hip area. Tunic tops are very trendy, and would be perfect to camouflage the wide waist area while still looking polished. Tops should be fitted, but longer to flatter the apple body type.

5- Dress in monochromatic outfits, or add just one more color. Keeping the number of colors down creates an illusion of length, which draws attention away from the waist.

6- Wear dark-colored bottoms. To draw attention from the waist and flatter the apple body type, dress in a lighter colored top.

7- Wear skirts that hit right above the knee. Flattering the legs, the best characteristic of an apple body type, is easy in a mid-length skirt. Beware, though--skirts that are too long, that hit below the knee mid-calf, for example, will not accentuate the legs, but draw negative attention to the stomach.

Weight Loss

You must be thinking, why am I talking about weight loss in a plus size blog? Well, i'll tell you. Many plus size women try to lose weight the WRONG WAY. Some of them stop eating. Some go to a gym and don't eat healthy. Some plus size women just don't eat healthy at all.
Why is it that when you try to lose weight, you figure out that in fact you're loosing wieght but you can still see those inches around the tummy, hips and those places you want to reduce? Well, that's because the weight you're loosing comes from your muscle and not from fat.
Here are some tips of how to loose weight in a healthy way.

1- Introduce changes gradually. Someone who has not exercised for years should not rush into running miles a day or pounding the treadmill. Park you're car as far as you can, that way you'll have to walk a little more and exercise. Increase your levels of activity.


2- Reduce the amount of calories Per FAT that you eat.

3- Forget the fast food!!! Be a healthy plus size woman. That's my goal. I want to educate plus size woman, so they can look gorgeous and healthy at the same time. There are videos that can show you the kind of stuff fast food can give you to eat. Start eating more veggies, cereals, white meat, and fruits and less canned or ready to eat food.

4- If you're on the road, make smart food choices at restaurants. When you do eat out, choose healthy options. Look for menu descriptions such as: baked, braised, grilled, boiled, poached, roasted and steamed. Food prepared by these methods tends to have less fat.

5- Limit your alcohol consumption. Alcohol tends to increase your appetite and provides extra calories and little or no nutrients. If you do drink, do so in moderation: No more than one drink a day for women and two drinks a day for men.

6- Try to avoid the "I'm on vacation!" mind set and keep in touch with your body's natural signals for hunger and satiety. Eat because your body is truly hungry and needs the fuel, and be sure to stop eating at the first signs of satiety.

7-Make water your best friend. Traveling can dehydrate you. Especially if your plans require long plane rides, spending time out in the sun or at the beach. If you can, be sure to stock your hotel room, backpack or car with plenty of water.

8- If you get really hungry between meals, eat salads, fruits, yogurt, or veggies.


9- Choose the right plan. There are many promises and many plans out there. Be careful and analyse everything they offer you. See if they have a guarantee and how is it. Look at the testimonies. Are they real? Personally, I know a plan I allready investigate and is really good. Is called Cinch. They focused in loosing pounds and INCHES. And that's the part I liked when I heard of it. They use natural products that won't hurt you're boddy. The peolple that testifies are real. And is made for people with a busy lifestyle.

It's your wedding. Every detail is important. One of the most important ingredients, which enhances to the brides beauty is their bridal wear. So how to choose the bridal wear, which matches your body shape and size? Well here I'll give some tips that can help you out.

1- First of all you must identify your body shape. Is it hour glass, round shape, Pear shape, Inverted triangle etc. Then you'll have a better idea of what kind of dress will look better on you.

Swuimsuits are a very important issue when we talk about summer. Wich one is better for your shape of body? Well, I'll give you some tips of how to choose the perfect plus size swimsuit:

1-Choosing bright, full colors can be especially smart for a plus size woman. The bold colors can draw attention to you, while bringing attention away from any imperfections.

2-Try on many styles. Don't assume that a two-piece wouldn't look smashing on you. The truth is, you don't know how anything will look on you until you are wearing it. Trying things on in bright lights is recommended.

3-Camouflage areas that you wish to hide with patterns or ruffle. Yes, some forms of patterns can actually draw attention instead of hiding.

4-Go for a swim on your own. See how look the suit after it gets wet. That way you won't get any surprises.

5-If your body changes frecuently you should check if the suit is flexible. Exaggerate your exhale and hold your stomach in. You want to check how does the suit will look and feel if your body changes.
